The War Room

So is anyone going to Archon 34 this year? Archon is the con where I joined PHC, and once upon a time was a fun party Con. The past two years have been skipped though, because of NasFic two years ago, and because parties were banned from the main hotel last year.

Now they have a new location, and the party hotel is significantly separated from the hotel where the gaming is. The masquerade will be at the party site I believe, for those interested in that.

So is there gonna be a PHC presence there? If so, I'll probably be along to join you guys. Otherwise, I'll probably pass too. The main reason I go to Archon is to party with y'all.

I will definitely be there, it is maybe a half mile from my house. I should stop by and try to reserve a party room.

Where did you hear about the separation of gaming and partying?

I had a lengthy talk with the guy who runs DieCon, who also happens to be the guy who runs gaming at Archon. My mental acuity is not one hundred percent reliable, but I was pretty sure that's what he said. There are two separate venues that are separated by a small distance.

I'll be there.

Sigh. YEah, I guess we'll be there. We'll give this piece of shit one more chance.

Ok, I just had more fun cracking up over that response than I'm likely to have at all of Archon.

Deech and I will be there, and I can confirm that there are 2 hotels being used for stuff this year. I'm not exactly sure what is in each hotel, but there are two for sure. I miss you guys! Can't wait to see you! Woot!
